Package Description

Date: October 19, 2023

Time: 4-5 p.m. ET

Description:

Join us for a live moderated Q&A session with Susan Chang, a newcomer to the editing freelance community after 30 years of experience working at Big Five publishers. Susan will be answering questions during an hour-long Q&A session and will speak directly to questions posed by webcast registrants.

Questions directed to Susan will be selected from a survey sent to webcast registrants in advance of the webcast's broadcast date. Additional questions put forward live in the Q&A box during the last portion of the webcast may also be considered within the allotted time. Register and ask Susan how she made her switch into the freelance world and what she has learned along the way.  Registrants may also draw on Susan's perspective and insights in developmental editing and tips on how to work with authors and publishing houses.

Please note that those who register after the survey is sent will not be able to submit their question in advance for consideration but may add it to the Q&A box during the presentation. The Q&A box is subject to time limitation and not all questions posed may be answered.

Cost: Free for ACES members; $30 for nonmembers
